Ole Hvelplund appointed Shell's Country Chair Denmark
Nature Energy's CEO, Ole Hvelplund, will thus be responsible for Shell's reputation and stakeholder relations in Denmark alongside being CEO of Nature Energy.
This is the first time that Shell has appointed a Country Chair from the management of a portfolio company.
Sinead Lynch, SVP Low Carbon Fuels, Shell, explains the choice of Ole Hvelplund with his great efforts for biogas and the energy system as well as his crucial role in Nature Energy's transformation.
Ole Hvelplund joined Nature Energy in 2013 and has since moved the company into a global player in the production and development of biogas.

Nature Energy currently has 13 plants in Denmark, one in the Netherlands and one under construction in France. A number of projects are also underway in the United States and Canada.
