How we conduct our business

The General Business Principles are central to how we conduct our business. They promote trust, openness, teamwork and professionalism, as well as pride in what we do and how we conduct business.

 

All Nature Energy employees and contractors, and those at joint ventures we operate, are expected to understand and continually behave in line with our Business Principles. We expect suppliers, and joint ventures that we do not operate, to apply equivalent principles.

 

What we expect of our people

The Code of Conduct supports every employee, contract staff and contractor who works for or on behalf of Nature Energy. It sets out expected behaviours of our employees and how they relate to our Business Principles and values.

 

The Code of Conduct provide practical advice on how to comply with laws and regulations and how to relate to customers, communities and colleagues.

Global Helpline (Whistleblower Scheme)

The Global Helpline enables Nature Energy employees and others to raise concerns or dilemmas, or to seek advice on a matter related to compliance with the law and our General Business Principles and Code of Conduct, in full confidence and without fear of retaliation.

 

The Global Helpline is for all employees and contract staff in Nature Energy and for third parties with whom Nature Energy has a business relationship (such as suppliers and consultants) if they observe wrongdoing by a Nature Energy company or employee. Danish users of Global Helpline are reffered, in addition to the guidelines on the Global Helpline webpage, to the Danish addendum which clarifies the rights you have as a whistleblower or as the respondent. This addendum can be found in a Danish version here and in an English version here.
